In this project we are studying copse snails (Arianta arbustorum) and developing methods for using this species as a model to understand evolution of biological rhythms.
Main results:
We revised all studies about biological clocks and rhythms in land snails and slugs, condensing all discoveries in a single place, identifying knowledge gaps, and proposing some interesting venues for future studies (Salvador & Tomotani, 2024).
This project is funded by a grant for Daylight Research from the Velux Stiftung.
