Seasonal timing

We study timing of seasonal events of the bird annual cycle, such as breeding, moult and migration.

Results

We studied great tit populations from two different latitudes and showed that they differ genetically in their timing of moult and testis growth but not egg laying. (Visser et al. 2025)
