Bird clocks and chronotypes

As part of the many projects that involves bird clocks, we also study the causes and consequences of variation in clocks and chronotypes in birds and are also interested in a more mechanistic understanding of bird clocks.

Main results:

The period of the circadian clock in great tits is not a good predictor of its chronotype (see Tomotani et al., 2024).
